On 18 October 2017, H.E. Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, Ambassador-designate of Malaysia, accompanied The Honourable Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamad, Minister of International Trade and Industry on his trade and investment mission to Hamburg which included a seminar on “Trade & Investment Opportunities in Malaysia”.
In his keynote address of the seminar, the Minister stated that it was important for Malaysia to increase its visibility in Europe particularly in Germany as the country is a very important source of foreign investment for Malaysia. The Minister further emphasized the importance of continuous engagement with foreign stakeholders to promote investment opportunities in Malaysia. The seminar was followed by a networking luncheon and Invest KL Roundtable Meeting with business representatives.
