H.E. Ambassador undertook a working visit to the headquarters of TÜV NORD in Hannover on 28 July 2016. The visit was a follow-up to the discussion which took place when H.E. Ambassador and his colleagues from ASEAN embassies participated in the ASEAN Dialogue in April 2016. At the TÜV NORD headquarters, H.E. Ambassador was welcomed by the company’s board member Dr. Klaus Kleinherbers and heads of units of the Group’s mobility section. TÜV NORD, a well-known name in the field of quality control and inspection, is interested to pursue future collaboration with Malaysian counterparts in the field of vehicle inspection.
During the visit, H.E. Ambassador was taken to a number of TÜV NORD’s vehicle inspection stations around Hannover. The different stations correspond to the progress achieved by TÜV NORD throughout the years, as well as the variety of work processes adopted by the company to adjust to the needs of the client. Ambassador and representatives of the Group also discussed the outlook of vehicle inspection in Malaysia and how the current inspection policy could be changed to better suit present and future needs.
