YB Datuk Ab. Aziz Kaprawi, Deputy Minister of Transport, led a delegation to the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology (InnoTrans) in Berlin on 24 September 2014. He was accompanied by Datuk Nawawi Ahmad, Chairman of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB); Datuk Seri Raja Nong Chik Zainal Abidin, Founder of RASMA Corporation Sdn. Bhd; as well as officials from the Ministry of Transport, KTMB and RASMA Corporation.
InnoTrans is a biennial fair that aims to provide an international platform for buyers and sellers of passenger and freight transport technology. It has established itself as an international industry showplace focusing on Railway Technology. The fair also includes a number of important events such as the Rail Leaders’ Summit (RLS), International Tunnel Forum, The Public Transport Forum and the Public Transport & Interiors Hall Forum. These events offer opportunities for government and business representatives to engage in dialogue on current and future developments in the field.
During the visit, YB Datuk Ab Aziz and delegation met with representatives from various companies in the railway industry. YB Datuk Ab Aziz also called on the State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), Mr. Enak Ferlemann.
