H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, Ambassador of Malaysia to France, presented his letter of credence to HSH Prince Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco on Tuesday 18 January 2011. The ceremony took place at the Palace of Monaco.
H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal is the first Malaysian Ambassador to be accredited to Monaco since the formalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries in November 2009.
H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal was accompanied by Mr. Mohiuddin Ghazali, First Secretary of the Embassy. The presentation ceremony was also attended by senior government officials from the Palace of Monaco and the Monegasque Ministry of State.
Following the presentation of credentials, H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal had an audience with HSH Prince Albert II and a meeting with Mr. José Badia, Minister of External Relations of Monaco. Mr. José Badia also hosted a lunch in honour of His Excellency Ambassador.
