As part of her official visit to several European countries to promote Malaysian palm oil, YB Teresa Kok Suh Sim, Minister of Primary Industries Malaysia, and delegation were in Rome, Italy form 09 to 12 May 2019. Yb Teresa laso took the opportunity to visit the Vatican City and called on His Eminence Cardinal Peter Turkson, Prefect for the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and also called on His Grace Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States. YB Teresa had fruitful discussions with the Cardinal Turkson and Archbishop Gallagher on the issues related to palm oil, poverty eradication and sustainable development.
