On 24 August 2025, the 58th ASEAN Day Badminton Tournament was successfully held at the Grand Sports Center, Kuningan. The tournament celebrated fun, friendship and sportsmanship across the ASEAN family. Co-sponsored by the Missions of Malaysia, China and the UK, the tournament brought together 41 pairs of players from ASEAN Member States, external partners and ASEAN Secretariat. PR of Malaysia to ASEAN, H.E. Sarah Al Bakri Devadason officiated the badminton tournament alongside DSG Nararya, the UK Ambassador to ASEAN H.E. Helen Fazey and Chinese Mission CDA Fu Fengshan. Also attending are the Ambassadors/PRs from Brunei, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Russia and the Netherlands. The Malaysian team won 3 medals including silver in Men’s Double and Mixed Double, as well as Bronze in Women’s Double.
