On 31 May 2024, Her Excellency Datin Sarah Al Bakri Devadason was appointed as the new Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN. Perviously, she has served the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the UN in New York as well as the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to ASEAN in Jakarta.
