On 15 April 2026, Ambassador Sarah Al Bakri Devadason received a courtesy call from Dr. Piti Srisangnam, Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation, to discuss the 2026 Workplan. As the current Chair of the ASEAN Foundation Board of Trustees (BOT), Malaysia is committed to fostering and promoting a stronger ASEAN identity and enhancing people-to-people connectivity.
