On 4 March 2026, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Mr. Syed Edwan Anwar bin Syed Ariff Fadzillah participated in the Fifth ASEAN-United Kingdom Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting at ASEAN Secretariat.
The Meeting reviewed the steady progress achieved under the ASEAN–UK Dialogue Partnership. Both sides reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation as we commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Dialogue Partnership this year.
Malaysia looks forward to the early adoption and effective implementation of the new ASEAN–UK Plan of Action (2027–2031), which will chart the future direction of ASEAN–UK relations.
