The first meeting between the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) and the European Union (EU) Committee of Permanent Representatives was held in Brussels, Belgium, on 27 February 2014. The said Meeting was a follow-up to the 19th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting held in Brunei in April 2012.
The Meeting reviewed the progress of ASEAN-EU cooperation as set out in the action plan to strengthen the ASEAN-EU enhanced partnership (2013-2017). During the Meeting, both parties also exchanged views and experiences on ways to enhance connectivity through various initiatives and projects under the ASEAN-EU cooperation.
