On 18 October 2024, the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN, Her Excellency Datin Sarah Al Bakri Devadason (PR) had a meeting with ASEAN Secretary-General, His Excellency Dr. Kao Kim Hourn (ASG) at the ASEAN Secretariat. Among issues discussed during the Meeting include the proposed Working Visit of the ASG to Malaysia, Malaysia ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025, Timor-Leste and ASEAN-UN relations.
