On 21 January 2026, H.E. Sarah delivered a welcoming remarks at the reception held in honour of H.E. Wang Qing, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN. As the Country Coordinator for ASEAN–China relations, H.E. Sarah warmly welcomed H.E. Wang to Jakarta. She highlighted 2026 as a significant milestone marking the 5th anniversary of the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and looked forward to a productive and forward-looking cooperation under H.E. Wang’s leadership.
