Summer Fun Retreat with Malaysian Families on Saturday May 16th 2009

The Consulate General had organized a Half Day Summer Fun Retreat at a private resort near the East Coast Road for Malaysian Home Based Families on Saturday May 16^th 2009.  The activity was part of the get together of the HBS families in Chennai during the Summer Season.  The activity also to give the HBS families particularly children to run away from the summer heat and enjoy water splash and Malaysian food.  The East Coast Road (ECR) is a very popular destination for retreats and picnics.  The ECR is located parallel with the coast line, the Bay of Bengal enroute to Mamallapuram, the tourist spot which carries the Hindu heritage as well as Pondicherry the Union Territory which has been colonized by the French.
