TRADE AND INVESTMENT MISSION LED BY THE HONOURABLE DATUK SERI MUSTAPA
MOHAMAD, MINISTER OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND INDUSTRY, MALAYSIA
TO HYDERABAD, ANDHRA PRADESH FROM 14 - 16 DECEMBER, 2012
The Trade and Investment mission to Hyderabad was led by the Honourable Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad, Minister of International Trade and Industry had resulted in positive outcome in trade and investment potentials from Hyderabad to Malaysia. The Hon’ble Minister was accompanied by Y.Bhg. Dr. Wong Lai Sum, CEO of MATRADE, Y.Bhg. Datuk Noharuddin Nordin of MIDA, representative from Economic Corridors, EXIM Bank, media reporters and other senior officials. The Consul General Mdm. Chitra Devi Ramiah and Consul Trade Mr. Shah Nizam Ahmad jointly coordinated and participated the trade and investment mission in Hyderabad.
The Honourable Minister had met and delivered his Keynote Address to the Indian Captains of Industries and Importers from Hyderabad during the Roundtable Programme chaired by Mr. B. Ashok Reddy, Vice Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh. During the session, YB Minister updated on the conducive economic environment, on the opportunities available in promoting trade and investments in Malaysia besides enhancing private sector's business collaboration, boosting Indian foreign direct investment in Malaysia and facilitating exports and imports between the two countries. A total of 25 Captains of Industries attended this session.
