The Embassy is pleased to announce that “Gravity of the Wall”, a solo exhibition by Malaysian artist Amir Zainorin, will be held at the Museo delle Mura in Rome from 5 February to 12 April 2026 with the support of an international institutional and cultural network, including the Embassy.
Born in Malaysia and based in Copenhagen since 2002, Amir Zainorin works across history, language, and materials, through transmaterial processes, to connect Southeast Asian narratives with broader global contexts.
The exhibition, Gravity of the Wall, showcases an interdisciplinary artistic practice exploring themes of migration, displacement, identity, and resilience through materials, sound, and collective experiences.
