Malaysia’s inaugural participation in this oscar event of the global architects community was a joint collaboration between MATRADE and Institute of Architects Malaysia (PAM). Being listed as an exhibitor in La Biennale di Venezia is, in itself a recognition on the readiness of the country’s architecture industry to enter the global market and to network with the other countries. A total of 28 architects from 26 firms including 2 universities took part in the event. With the theme; RE/Mixed, 39 architectural projects were presented.
