As chairman of ACR for the term of July-December 2015, H.E Ambassador Dato' Abdul Samad Othman hosted the 17th ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) meeting at the Embassy of Malaysia on 3 September 2015.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, Ambassador of Thailand, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and their respective Deputy Head of Mission.
The meeting discussed several issues of common interest particularly on preparation of EU-ASEAN Days event to be held at Expo Milan on 29-30 September 2015.
