Amb. Zahid led the ASEAN Committee Room (ACR) in a meeting with Her Excellency Maria Tripodi, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic on 27 June 2026. The meeting reaffirmed the ASEAN-Italy Development Partnership, exchanged views on regional issues, and discussed the implementation of various projects under the ASEAN-Italy framework.
