On 24 November 2023, Amb. Zahid met with H.E. Donato Cafagna, the Prefect of Torino. They discussed on further enhancing trade and investments opportunities, and the welfare, safety and contributions of the Malaysian diaspora in Torino and the surrounding region.
The Malaysian delegation included Mr. Fuad Norzin, Minister Counsellor, and Capt Kindil Akim, Defense Attache, from the Embassy in Rome, as well as Mr Manlio D’Agostino Panebianco, Malaysian Honorary Consul in Padova.
