On 27 October 2015, H.E Dato’ Abdul Samad Othman attended the monthly ASEAN Ambassador luncheon hosted by Ambassador of Myanmar. Other ASEAN ambassador/representative namely from Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand attended the luncheon. The guest of honour for the luncheon was Former Italian Ambassador Michelangelo Pipan, now the vice president of Italy-ASEAN association. Ambassador Andrea Perugini from Italian MFA also attended.
