On 25 July 2016, Malaysian singer Dato’ Zainal Abidin called on TYT Dato’ Abdul Samad Othman at his office. Dato’ Zainal was accompanied by his spouse and manager, Datin Angelina Asmawi. During the call, Dato’ Zainal shared his experience and journey hailing from a small town kampong boy to become an internationally recognized artist. He mentioned that he had perform internationally as guest artist for Malaysian events in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism. Phil Collins and Paul Simons are among the big names in the music industry that Dato’ Zainal has worked with. He informed that, he was invited to perform, Hijau, in Rome by ABIAH Music, in relation to the Jubilee Celebration of Music for Mercy concert.
