On 2 Nov 2023, Amb. Zahid received a courtesy call from the Malaysian Honorary Consuls in Italy, Ms. Anna Ceppaluni (Napoli) and Mr. Manlio D' Agostino Panebianco (Padova). Honorary Consuls play an important role as part of Malaysia’s international network.
This first meeting between Amb. Zahid and the Honorary Consuls was an opportunity to exchange views on their role and how they can continue to help Malaysia in Italy - particularly on assisting Malaysian nationals, promoting Malaysia-Italy trade and bilateral relations, and enhancing cooperation with the regional Governments in Italy.
