On 6 July 2015, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Abdul Samad Othman made a courtesy call on Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia, Chief of Protocol of MFA of Italy. The call was to discuss regarding the presentation of credentials ceremony on the President of the Republic of Italy. Ambassador Samad took the opportunity to also discuss on the current bilateral relations between Malaysia and Italy and the possible cooperation which could be explored further.
Afterwards, H.E. Ambassador met with Ambassador Andrea Perugini, head of the Asia, Pacific and Oceania Division of MFA of Italy where they discussed several issues of mutual cooperation.
