On 28 February 2025, the Embassy participated in the Education Diplomacy Programme Phase 1 organised by Global Action, an NGO dedicated to enlighten youths on the dynamics of diplomacy and international relations. Mr. Ahmad Fuad, Minister-Counsellor; Ms. Nidyakala Manian, Second Secretary; and Ms. Giulia Girlando, Assistant Information Officer visited the Istituto San Giuseppe del Caburlotto and had an interactive presentation to introduce Malaysia to the students. The presentation focused on Malaysia's history, administrative structure, culture, economy, foreign policy as well as the bilateral relations between Malaysia and Italy in various sectors such as trade, investment and sports.
The presentation was followed by a Q&A session where the Embassy had the opportunity to take questions and enlighten the students on various topics about Malaysia, including cultural diversity, national policies and tourism activities. The Embassy will host the students during Phase 2 of the programme in the second quarter of 2025.
