On 8 April, the Embassy welcomed students from Istituto Istruzione Superiore Via dei Papareschi, as part of Phase 2 of the Diplomacy Education Programme, organised by Global Action.
During their visit, the students toured the Embassy’s new premises and had the opportunity to engage directly with its officers. Ms. Nidyakala Manian, First Secretary, briefed the students on the world of diplomacy, offering insights into the role and responsibilities of a diplomat. The briefing also highlighted the work of the Embassy, including bilateral cooperation with Italy across various sectors, and engagement with the Rome-based UN agencies.
This collaboration with Global Action remains a positive way to introduce young Italians Malaysia and diplomacy.
