A forum on Business Opportunities in Food Sector + Halal Products in Malaysia was held in Rome on 9 May 2013, organized by the Italy–Malaysia Friendship Association (IMFA/AMICI) with the assistance and cooperation from the Embassy, MATRADE and also MIDA.
The focus of the forum was on the discussion of the present scenario and the development of the food industry in Malaysia including the Halal sector. The forum was attended by individuals and business groups representing the food business sector in Italy. Earlier during the event, IMFA/AMICI made its official launching and the presentation of the association to the media.
