On Wednesday, 6 July 2016, TYT Dato’ Abdul Samad Othman hosted the Hari Raya celebration for Malaysian Embassy staff at his Residence in Rome. This occasion was also attended by Tan Sri Bernard Giluk Dompok, Ambassador of Malaysia to Holy See, his wife and staffs of the Embassy of Malaysia to the Holy See. A few ASEAN Ambassadors also attended the celebration and enjoyed the Malaysian cuisines served. Among the traditional delicacies served were lemang, rendang, kuah kacang, laksa johor, lontong, satay and home made cookies.
