Malaysia participated in the 42nd Session of the Governing Council of the IFAD which was held at FAO Headquarters, Rome in 14 – 15 February 2019. Malaysia was represented by Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, Ambassador of Malaysia to Italy, Mr. Muhammad Rudy Khairudin Mohd Nor, Agriculture Counsellor and Mr. Muhammad Suhail Muhammad, First Secretary (Agriculture) from Embassy of Malaysia, Rome. The theme of this year’s Council was “Rural Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.
