2024 was a very positive year for Malaysia-Italy trade relations. Malaysia’s total trade with Italy reached RM14.6 billion, marking a 2% growth from 2023. Our exports to Italy also saw a strong increase of 7%, amounting to RM6.71 billion.
Italy ranked as Malaysia’s 24th largest trading partner, 23rd largest import source, and 23rd largest export destination. With even greater potential ahead, the Embassy is committed to strengthening trade ties and exploring new opportunities in 2025.
