The Malaysian Food Fair was successfully held today, through the tremendous efforts of the Ladies Association of the Embassy of Malaysia in Rome, Italy (PERWAKILAN Rome), supported by the Embassy. Our friends and colleagues from the Embassy of Malaysia to the Holy See also participated in this event.
The Food Fair was well attended by Malaysians, friends of Malaysia, the diplomatic corps, members of international organizations, as well as the public and local community.
Guests had a selection of home cooked Malaysian food such as nasi lemak, laksa Sarawak, mee goreng, rendang daging, ayam goreng, and roti jala with kari ayam. There were sweet and savoury Malaysian kuih such as seri muka, kek batik, kuih bakar, karipap and popiah goreng. For drinks, there was teh tarik and sirap selasih. Various Malaysian crafts and food products were also on sale.
We were delighted to share Malaysian cuisine with a wider audience, and thank everyone for making today’s event a success.
