Dato’ Zahid held a meeting with H.E. Claudio Sgaraglia, Prefect of Milan, on 29 November 2024. Both expressed hope to further strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship.
The city of Milan, and the wider Lombardy region, is an important trade and investment area for Malaysia, and a popular destination for Malaysian tourists to Italy. The economic significance of this region is underscored by the MATRADE and MIDA offices in Italy being located in Milan.
