The Embassy of Malaysia , Rome is the current Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Rome/ ACR for a period of six/seven months from May- December 2012/or for the second quarter of this year. During this period, a regular meeting of ACR is held by the Embassy once in every 2 months.. The Embassy has hosted two meetings which were in May and July 2012. The next meeting will be held in September and November 2012. The ACR was established at the end of 2011 with the first chairmanship was hosted by Thailand.
Among the various activities that the ACR will implement include regular luncheons among ASEAN Heads of Missions with Italian guests of honors, ASEAN Food Fair, visits and meetings with Chambers of Commerce etc as well as family get-together.
