On 31 January 2025, Mr. Ahmad Fuad, Minister Counsellor, delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of the “Future We Want: Global Initiative for Young Leaders” programme organised by the Italian Diplomatic Academy. The programme is a Model United Nations (MUN) conference intended to provide first-hand experience on the dynamics of international relations and the United Nations to future generation leaders from all over the world.
In his remarks entitled, “The Role, Empowerment, and Strength of Youths in Diplomacy and Multilateralism”, Mr. Ahmad Fuad emphasised the qualities that youths bring such as flexibility, adaptability, fresher perspectives, innovative thinking, and enthusiasm for changes; and the need to empower them through participation in multilateral diplomatic activities.
