At Tor Vergata University of Rome today, Dato’ Zahid delivered a presentation on Malaysia’s 2025 Chairmanship of ASEAN, during an ‘ASEAN Briefing Session’. The event was held as part of the ongoing Festival Della Diplomazia 2025, with the other ASEAN ambassadors and representatives presenting on ASEAN as a whole and the various pillars of the ASEAN community.
The briefing session helped to raise greater awareness and understanding of ASEAN, in particular the continuing development and evolution of the organisation, following the adoption of the ‘ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future’ document by ASEAN Leaders at the 46th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur on 26 May 2025.
