On 11 November 2024, the Malaysian Embassy joined the Commonwealth embassies in Rome to commemorate Remembrance Day. The Embassy was represented by Mr. Ahmad Fuad Mohd Norzin, Minister Counselor, and Kept. Mohd Kindil Md Akim, Defence Attache, in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Rome War Cemetery.
