It is a pleasure to meet our very own Sape Master, Mr Mathew Ngau Jau & Mr. Solomon Gau at the Embassy on 18 July 2019. TYT Dato’ Malik welcomed the duo to Rome, Italy. Mr Mathew and Mr Solomon will be in Rome for three day Sape Extravaganza from 18-20 July 2019.

The Embassy of Malaysia, Rome Italy & Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth & Sports Sarawak hosted ‘An Evening with Sape’ on 19 July 2019 at the Embassy of Malaysia, showcasing Sarawak’s traditional instrument, the Sape & Ngajat dance performed by Mathew Ngau Jau & Solomon Gau. The event was attended by Ambassadors, Diplomatic Corp, Friends of Malaysia & Malaysians in Italy.
Malaysian Night Rome at Isola Del Cinema on 20 July 2019 showcased the Master of Sape, Mathew Ngau Jau, and Ngajat dancer Solomon Gau highlighting the Sape music and Sarawak’s rich ethnicity. Thank you for your support to the Embassy.
