The Embassy, in collaboration with the International Film Club of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spouses Association (ACDMAE), was delighted to host a special screening of the Malaysian movie “Motif” at Cinema Tiziano on 16 October 2025.
“Motif” had its world Premiere at the Far East Film Festival in Udine in 2019, and continues to captivate international audiences with its compelling story of mystery, family, and personal struggle. The screening offered guests a window into Malaysia’s vibrant culture, creative storytelling, and cinematic artistry — celebrating a shared appreciation of the arts that strengthen the people-to-people connections between Malaysia and Italy.
Guests were also introduced to Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and treated to a taste of Malaysia with authentic pastries and traditional cuisine.
