YBhg. Tan Sri Mustapha Mansur, President of Malaysian Green Business Association and also former President of Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers /FMM was recently in Rome to deliver a talk about Malaysia at the Leonardo Committee’s yearly Forum. During the occasion, both Mr. Corrado Passera, Minister of Economy Italy and Mr. Giorgio Squinzi, the newly elected President of Confindustria had also given their presentations, with the focus on Italy and the current economic situation in the country. The forum was attended by nearly 150 members of the Leonardo Committee.
During the evening, the Malaysian Ambassador Datin Paduka Halimah Abdullah, hosted a get-together casual dinner at the Residence in honor of Tan Sri Mustapha Mansur’s visit to Rome. The Ambassador also invited some other guests from the Leonardo Committee including those from various industries such as the banking, fashion, food, energy sectors etc. The occasion has definitely provided an opportunity for the Italian companies to be informed more about Malaysia and the prospects available for business cooperation between private sectors of both countries.
Among the current members of the Leonardo Committee including those business players in Italy such as Ducati Group, Ferrari, Luisa Spagnoli, Ferrero, GEOX, Gruppo Armani, Prada, Italdesign- Giugiaro etc.
