The ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) on 10 August 2022, organized the 55th ASEAN Day Celebrations, hosted by the Royal Thai in Rome.
ASEAN Day is celebrated each year on 8 August to commemorate the establishment of the regional organization in 1967.
The guest of honour was H.E. Alessandra Schiavo, the Deputy Director-General for the Countries of Asia and Oceania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.
The celebration also witnessed the participation of our key partners, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, ASEAN Dialogue Partners, Italy- ASEAN Association, TWAI, CESI, Festival Diplomazia and other important stakeholders.
The Guests were served local delicacies from the various ASEAN Nations. #HappyASEANDay
