Vacancy Announcement – Driver for the Ambassador of Malaysia in Rome
The Embassy of Malaysia in Rome is recruiting an experienced driver to fulfill the position as the Ambassador’s driver.

Job Purpose
Provide efficient and safe transportation of the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Italy to various destinations according to work necessities.
Language
Good knowledge of Italian and English in both oral and written communication.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent.
Desired skills and knowledge
- Formal drivers training with a valid driver’s license/certification to operate assigned vehicle following local rules and regulations
- Experience in driving in a variety of makes and models of vehicles
- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, protocol and courtesies and security issues
- Knowledge of detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems
- Knowledge of safety standards and safety equipment
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of communications equipment such as radio, GPS is an advantage
- Availability to frequent work trips
