Working Visit of YB Dato' Sri Haji Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri Based Industry 1 in Rome, Italy, 3-8 July 2017.

YB Dato' Sri Tajuddin led the Malaysian delegation to the 40th Session of FAO Conference which was held on 3-8 July 2017 in Rome. YB Dato' Sri delivered a statement on his capacity as the Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Conference. On the sidelines, Malaysia also signed an MoU on agriculture cooperation with the government of Australia. Australia was represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Hon. Barnaby Joyce. In addition, YB Dato' Sri also had a bilateral meeting with Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, Mr Ryszard Zarudzki. Both leaders discussed on efforts to increase cooperation in agriculture sector between the two countries.
