30 March 2023 – His Excellency Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, attended an Iftar Reception hosted by H.E. Mr. Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan. The hosting of the Iftar did not take place during the pandemic. Some 50 Muslim Ambassadors were present including H.E. Hayashi Yoshimasa, Mnister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, as well as several members of the House of Representatives.
