The Embassy of Malaysia welcomed representatives and students from the Education Department of Kyoei University on 11 May 2026 as part of their preparatory programme ahead of a 10-day study programme in Penang, Malaysia this September.
The delegation comprised Associate Professor HASHIMOTO Takao, Professor KAWAGUCHI Hiroshi, and five participating students. During the visit, the students were introduced to Malaysia’s current political and economic landscape, multicultural society, customs and culture, as well as aspects of multicultural coexistence in Malaysia.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for discussions and exchanges in preparation for the students’ upcoming study programme in Penang. The programme reflects the Embassy’s continued efforts to strengthen educational exchanges and promote greater understanding of Malaysia among Japanese students and educators.
