The Embassy hosted a Tea Seminar in collaboration with the Tea Instructors Society of Japan, featuring Malaysia’s renowned teas; BOH Tea and Sabah Tea.
The event welcomed 70 tea instructors and tea experts from the Greater Tokyo area, who experienced BOH Tea and Sabah Tea tasting sessions, as well as the serving of Malaysia’s iconic teh tarik alongside traditional Malaysian tea-time snacks and kuih. Participants were also introduced to the rich heritage of Malaysian tea culture through presentations highlighting Malaysia’s tourism attractions, agricultural industry, and trade opportunities in Japan.
