7 July 2023 – The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Japan organised the 317th ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Meeting. The Embassy of Malaysia in Japan was represented by the Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Anwar Udzir. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Tuy Ry, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Japan as the Chairman of ACT, and participated by the Heads of Mission and representatives as well as officials from all ten ASEAN embassies in Tokyo.
The Meeting has the privilege to receive a briefing from H.E. Dr Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN during a dinner talk on the latest situation in ASEAN as well as regional development involving ASEAN. The Meeting has provided a platform to exchange views on various matters related to ASEAN and Japan.
