5 October 2023 –Mr. Anwar Udzir, Deputy Chief of Mission representing H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan attended the 318th ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Meeting. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Tuy Ry, Ambassador of Cambodia to Japan as the Chair of ACT and participated by all Ambassadors and representatives of the ASEAN countries.
The purpose of the meeting was to update matters of mutual concerns as well as to discuss upcoming activities to commemorate the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation. The ACT was privileged to host H.E. Dr. Kunihiko Hirabayashi, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Japan Center, who delivered a presentation titled "Co-Creation with Heart-to-Heart and Trust."
