321st ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Meeting

30 April 2024 – H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, joined other Southeast Asian Heads of Mission to Japan for the 321st ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Meeting. The session was chaired by H.E. Heri Akhmadi, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Japan, who currently serves as the ACT chairman from January to June 2024. The meeting discussed several issues of mutual concern including the ASEAN-Japan relations, as well as the programme line-up for the year. Mr. Ryo Nakamura, Director-General of the Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, was invited as the distinguished speaker during the dinner talk.
