27 February 2025 – UiTM Perak, led by its Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Nur Hisham Ibrahim, made a courtesy call on Mr. Anwar Udzir, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan. The meeting focused on discussing potential programs to promote intercultural exchange between Malaysia and Japan, with a special emphasis to foster greater bilateral ties through education and cultural collaborations.
UiTM Perak was in Tokyo to participate in a forum and an art show organised by Chiba University where the creativity and talent of Malaysian students were showcased at the event. Mr. Anwar Udzir expressed his support for UiTM Perak's efforts in engaging with Japanese institutions and commended the university for its role in promoting Malaysia's vibrant arts and culture abroad.
