8 March 2023 – Dr. Atsushi Sunami, President of Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan. Dr. Sunami was also accompanied by Dr. Akiko Horiba, Senior Program officer at the SPF.
SPF is a private not-for-profit Japanese foundation established in September 1986. SPF engaged in various projects and activities aimed at contributing to human welfare, advancement of sound international society, and establishment of world peace through international understanding, exchange, and cooperation.
H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Shahril commended SPF’s significant contributions towards addressing global challenges, despite of COVID-19 pandemic and welcomed SPF’s future activities and programmes in the future.
