22 July 2024 – H.E. Datuk Rizam bin Haji Ismail, Selangor Consumer Affairs and Cooperative Exco, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan. This visit was part of Datuk Rizam’s benchmarking trip to Japan from 20 to 26 July 2024. He was accompanied by representatives from the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (Selangor Branch), Koperasi Warga Hijrah Selangor Berhad (KOHIJRAH), and Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA) Selangor.
During the meeting, Datuk Rizam outlined the purpose of the benchmarking visit and discussed various matters related to the cooperative management and supply chain in Japan.
